Rotorua Term 2, auditions, OPEN DAY this Sunday!
ROTORUA OPEN DAY:
Sunday 2nd April 10.30am-2pm

HIP HOP workshops, performances & crew auditions!
WE ARE ON THE HUNT FOR A JUNIOR CREW (8 members) TO COMPETE AT UPCOMING HIP HOP COMPETITIONS. You can be any age up to 13 (can only have turned 13 this year, not last).
We are also on the hunt for COMPANY dancers. This will be an extension class for those at an advanced level or whom show great potential. Company dancers will be the face of Rise Rotorua performing at events etc and will gain from upskilling in a fast paced environment.
You may audition for both the junior crew and company crew.
On audition day you will see performances from B Zerk and G Funk, both travelling to Nationals in the next school holidays.
10.30am - register for Intermediate level workshop ($10 per person)
10.50am - Performances from Rise crews
11.00am-12.00pm - Intermediate workshop
12.15pm - register for the Advanced workshop ($10 per person)
12.00-12.30pm - Junior crew auditions (turned 13 this year or under)
(To audition for the junior crew you must have attended the Intermediate workshop)
12.30pm - Performances from Rise crews
12.35pm - 1.35pm - Advanced level workshop
1.35pm - 2.00pm Company class auditions (any age but must have attended the advanced workshop)
Door sales only. Payment by cash or eft pos.
We will also bring along our new season tshirts ($15 short sleeved, $25 long).
TERM TWO:
OUR term one finishes 7 April and OUR term two starts 8 May (2nd week of the school term).
If you are staying in the same class you do not need to re-enrol for term two.
In fact as many classes are full, you will not be able to enrol on-line as we had to close off enrolments so that new people do not enrol and push existing students off the roll.
If you are not returning in term two, please let us know so that we can take you off our rolls. If you are enrolling in a different class in term two, please enrol from the ENROL/INFO tab on our home page. In the comments field of your enrolment, tell us if the class is instead of or additional to the class you were enrolled for in term one.
April Holiday Programme running in Tauranga:
Our dance-based school holiday programme will once again be operating out of Otumoetai Primary School hall, Tauranga. Lots of different activities including crafts, variety of dance styles, singing, outdoor activities and games. Come and have some fun with our dance teachers!
$40 per day from 8am-5.30pm. WINZ subsidies apply for those eligible. Get more information and enrol here:
