TERM ONE CLASS DATES, ENROLLMENTS, NEW CLASSES FOR 2018, BRING A FRIEND TO CLASS PASS
We are so excited to start dancing again and can't wait to see you all back again soon! We hope you have all been enjoying the school holidays and the warm weather! With the school term fast approaching please re-enrol your dancers ASAP online to avoid missing out on a space.
RISE NEW OFFICE HOURS:
Our office is now open Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm at our new office location at 139 Totara Street, Mount Maunganui.
TERM ONE CLASSES RUN FOR 9 WEEKS, SEE START AND FINISH DATES BELOW:
Monday classes start on 5 February, NO classes on Monday 2 April due to Easter Monday, finishing on 9 April
Tuesday classes start 13 February due to Waitangi Day on the 6, finishing on Tuesday 10 April
Wednesday classes start 7 February, finishing 4 April
Thursday classes start 8 February, finishing 5 April
Friday classes start 9 February NO classes on Friday 30 March due to Good Friday, finishing on 13 April
Saturday classes start 10 February, finishing on 7 April
ENROLLMENTS FOR TERM ONE:
Our classes are already filling up fast with many already full, so please don't delay re-enrolling your children into class to avoid disappointment. Everyone needs to create a new account when enrolling for 2018 (Even if you are an existing customer with Rise). Please note our classes starting from Term One will be 9 weeks duration.

BRING A FRIEND TO CLASS PASS:
For the 5th-13th February only we are offering students a "bring a friend to class pass" ,if they have a friend who might like to come find out why its fun to be a part of Rise Dance. If your child would like to bring a friend they can do so to any class between the 5th -13th Feb (including the 13th). Dance is always more fun with friends coming along to share the fun too!
NEW PARENT PORTAL:
We have a new enrollment system/software which in turn provides parents with their own Parent Portal. Within the portal parents can keep contact details up to date, enrol in classes, view their students class schedules, add a credit card and make credit card payments with the click of a button, view account balances owing for fees (which is itemized if you have multiple classes or students) plus so many more useful features. You can login anytime once your account has been set up, it only takes two minutes to register.

TERM ONE FEES:
Please ensure you have made payment of all term fees prior to the start of Term 1 as some of our classes are already full and this means you will need to make a payment to hold your spot. Payment can be made via the following methods: internet banking, cash in office (our teachers cannot take cash from students or parents sorry) or credit card. Please Note Rise NO longer charges any credit card fees for payment via this method and parents can easily log into the secure parent portal and make payment.
NEW CLASSES FOR 2018:
Lil Groovers - Designed for pre-schoolers aged 3&4. This dance class incorporates lots of props & costumes. Introduction to many dance styles – ballet, jazz & urban. Fun filled class with stimulating music from around the globe.Not a traditional ballet class, but a class incorporating of a fun mix of dance genres for your little one to experience. Tuesday 2.00 pm- 2.40 pm Price is $100 for 9 weeks
Lil Hoppers - Designed for 5 & 6 year olds This class comprises beginning instruction in jazz, hip-hop and acro dance so that by the end of the year the favoured style will be clear and the basics for all will have been learnt! The focus will still very much be on having fun with dance and at the same time gaining confidence and body awareness. Mondays 4.00 pm - 4.45 pm, Price is $105 for 9 weeks.
YOUR RISE DANCE ROTORUA TEAM
Welcoming Cara to the Rotorua Rise Team! We are so excited to have Cara one of our fantastic dance teachers from Tauranga joining our Rotorua Dance studio to teach you all ! Cara will be taking our lil hoppers, Jazz and Contemporary classes! You may have seen her dance at the Rotorua showcase and we hope you will all make her feel welcome =). This is a little about your new teacher, from Cara herself " I'm a true believer that you're never too old to dance or start dancing! I have been privileged to have been exposed to a variety of different dance styles, in choreographing, teaching and performing! Dance is really powerful and I love watching people come alive when they dance! I can't wait for another year here at Rise Dance and to be apart of the Rotorua dance studio"!

ABSENCES
You don’t need to let us know if you/your child will be away for a class. Please just let us know if they will be away for 3 weeks or longer (broken arm etc).
LOST PROPERTY
Please do not contact us regarding the lost property at the studios. You can look for it in the 'lost property' box when you are next there.
