We are so excited to start dancing again and can't wait to see you all back again soon! We hope you have all been enjoying the school holidays and the warm weather! With the school term fast approaching please re-enrol your dancers ASAP online to avoid missing out on a space. Why not check out our NEW classes (see further down in the newsletter for more info). We have an awesome new MOUNT STUDIO located at 139 Totara Street Mount Maunganui, with plenty of parking and a yummy coffee shop right next door!
RISE NEW OFFICE HOURS:
We are open Monday to Friday 9:00am -3:00pm at our new office location at 139 Totara Street. If you need to make payment or see us outside of these hours please call us to make an arrangement for us to be here.
TERM ONE CLASSES RUN FOR 9 WEEKS, SEE START AND FINISH DATES BELOW:
Monday classes start on 5 February, NO classes on Monday 2 April due to Easter Monday, finishing on 9 April
Tuesday classes start 13 February due to Waitangi Day on the 6, finishing on Tuesday 10 April
Wednesday classes start 7 February, finishing 4 April
Thursday classes start 8 February, finishing 5 April
Friday classes start 9 February NO classes on Friday 30 March due to Good Friday, finishing on 13 April
Saturday classes start 10 February, finishing on 7 April
ENROLLMENTS FOR TERM ONE:
Our classes are already filling up fast with many already full, so please don't delay re-enrolling your children into class to avoid disappointment. Everyone needs to create a new account when enrolling for 2018 (Even if you are an existing customer with Rise). Please note our classes starting from Term One will be 9 weeks duration.

NEW PARENT PORTAL:
We have a new enrollment system/software which in turn provides parents with their own Parent Portal. Within the portal parents can keep contact details up to date, enrol in classes, view their students class schedules, add a credit card and make credit card payments with the click of a button, view account balances owing for fees (which is itemized if you have multiple classes or students) plus so many more useful features. You can login anytime once your account has been set up, it only takes two minutes to register.

TERM ONE FEES:
Please ensure you have made payment of all term fees prior to the start of Term 1 as some of our classes are already full and this means you will need to make a payment to hold your spot. Payment can be made via the following methods: internet banking, cash in office (our teachers cannot take cash from students or parents sorry), cheque or credit card. Please Note Rise NO longer charges any credit card fees for payment via this method and parents can easily log into the secure parent portal and make payment.
NEW CLASSES FOR 2018:
We have some exciting new classes starting this year as follows:
- Little Gems - This is an imaginative introduction to ballet class designed for 3&4-year-olds, with two of our highly experienced ballet teachers
-Tricks and Tumbling Class - For students wanting to learn to flip and learn some awesome tricks (Ideal for crew students, limited spaces)
- Boys Only Hip Hop - Now at Mount Studio, with our awesome new teacher Jordan
- Kicks, Turns, Leaps and Stretch Class - the perfect compliment to our contemporary dance classes
- Commercial Hip Hop Class - This style of dance is seen in many dance clips, movies, music videos, award gigs, TV shows and even back up dancing for music artists. (best suited to ages 13+)
OPEN HIP HOP WORKSHOP THIS SUNDAY:
We have an open hip hop workshop with our new teacher Jordan . Come along 6:00-7:00 pm on Sunday 14 January to our new Mount Studio (139 Totara Street). Entry is by a donation at the door.

ABSENCES
You don’t need to let us know if you/your child will be away for a class. Please just let us know if they will be away for 3 weeks or longer (broken arm etc).
LOST PROPERTY
Please do not contact us regarding the lost property at the studios. You can look for it in the 'lost property' box when you are next there.
