Term 3 ends, Holiday Programme, workshops, loads of new show info, crew auditions

Please note this Saturday 23 September is the last day of our term 3 with the exception of the Advanced Acro classes and Bethlehem Primary who have their last class on Tuesday 26 September.
OUR TERM 4 CLASSES START BACK ON MONDAY 16 OCTOBER (the FIRST week of the school term).
TERM 4 FEES:
School classes - $75
Public classes:
Little Luvlies 3-4 year olds - $78.75 (7 weeks only) EXCEPT for the Saturday Mount class $56.25 (5 weeks only)
45 minute classes - $95
1 hour classes - $120
1.25 hour classes - $150
1.5 hour classes - $175
Costume fees (if you haven't already paid):
Schools and hip hop classes - $45 per costume
Acro, Contemporary and Jazz classes - $55 per costume

DANCE HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
Our programme runs from the Otumoetai Primary School Hall, Monday 2 October to Friday 13 October, 8am-5.30pm.

HIP HOP CREW AUDITIONS (for our 2018 crews):
When: Sunday 29th October 2017
Where: Rise Dance Company, 150 Newton St, Mount Maunganui
Junior Auditions: 1:00pm-2:30pm
Varsity Auditions: 2:45pm-4:15pm
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the above times to register.
$5 per person to audition.
NOTE:
Juniors can be no older than 12 on the 31st December 2017.
Varsity can be no older than 17 on the 31st December 2017.
No spectators please.
CONTEMPORARY AND HIP HOP WORKSHOPS:

DANCERS IN MORE THAN ONE CLASS IN THE PUBLIC SHOW:
Please click the link for our show run sheet to make sure you have at least 2 or 3 dances in between to get changed before your next class dances on stage.

SUNDAY REHEARSALS, MERIVALE ACTION CENTRE, SUNDAY 12 AND 19 NOVEMBER:
All dancers are required at 2x Sunday rehearsals leading up to the shows.
At these rehearsals we map out the size of the actual stage so we can work on spacing etc. The Sunday rehearsals are also where we give out the costumes for the shows.

DRESS REHERSAL AT BAYCOURT FRIDAY 24 NOVEMBER
This is compulsory for all dancers.

PHOTOS and DVDS FOR THE SHOWS
Can I take photos and video recordings at the show?
No - we have professionals photographing and filming.
You can order photos directly from the photographers website after the shows (we will give you details closer to the time).
DVDs can now be ordered through us online at http://risedance.nz/enrol-info/dvds (credit card only) or if you wish to pay cash or eftpos you can do so at our shop/office at 150 Newton Street, Mount Maungaunui, 8.30am-4.00pm Monday to Friday.
DVDs are $30 and there are seperate DVDs for the schools and crews showcase and the public showcase.
Please make sure you select the correct show DVD (There are 2 different shows being filmed, the 6.30pm Public show and the 10am School and Crew Show).

SHOW HELPERS:
Thank you to everyone who has already offered to help! We will contact you in the next few weeks. We still need many more helpers.
Please let us know if you can help backstage and for which shows (10am schools show/2.00pm public show/6.30pm public show) (the more you can help with the better).
We would love to hear from those who helped last year (remind us of the job you did so we can give you the same as last year to keep things easy). Please email us as soon as poss if you are able to help as we are already working on our helpers list. We will take your name and contact you closer to the time with a specifically allocated job - eg. looking after certain groups backstage, hair/makeup etc (let us know if you have any experience in certain backstage jobs).

ABSENCES
You don’t need to let us know if you/your child will be away for a class. Please just let us know if they will be away for 3 weeks or longer (broken arm etc).
LOST PROPERTY
Please do not contact us regarding lost property at the studios. You can look for it in the 'lost property' box when you are next there.
