Mount parking, Farewell Helen! Late fee, costume fee, enrolments closed for 2017

CLASS ENROLMENTS FOR 2017 NOW CLOSED:
We have closed our rolls to newcomers on 25 August 2017 because of the emphasis on the shows. The children are already well on the way to learning their routines and it is not fair on them or the newcomer to have to wait while someone new catches up.
The exception is the 3-5 year old classes because these groups are not performing in the shows.
Late fee added on 1 SEPTEMBER:
Please note the following from our terms & conditions:
Term fees are due and payable in full prior to the beginning of each new term.
If payment has not been received by the 4th dance lesson of the term we will add an additional 10% to the full term fee.
This late fee is due to be added to all outstanding fees on 1 September 2017.
Please consider banking time frames to ensure we see fees in our bank account before
1 September.

COSTUME FEE:
If you haven't paid your costume fee it would be great if you could pay that now as many of the costumes come from overseas and we need to order (and pay) now to ensure they arrive in time.
Costume costs:
Acro, Jazz and contemporary: $55
All other classes: $45
Remember adults source their own costumes and Little Luvlie (3&4 year olds) are not involved in the shows.
Costumes are given out at the Sunday rehearsal and are kept by you after the shows.
PLEASE EMAIL US IF YOU/YOUR CHILD IS IN 2 OR MORE CLASSES LEARNING DANCES FOR THE SHOWS...
This is because we are about to start the order of the show and it's based on making sure those that dance in more than 1x class have enough time to get dressed backstage into their next costume.
We have a list of students we know are in more than one class but would hate to miss anyone so please email us (reply to this email) and tell us your name and which classes you/your child is in as a final check for us.

Today Helen, our office super star is retiring :-(
Helen has been with Rise for 9 years. Way back when we had a roll of about 100 students and we ran our office from a cold, damp garage. Helen has been an integral part of the team and will be dearly missed. Happy well deserved retirement Helen!!! X
MOUNT STUDIO PARKING
You can park on the road and we have a few designated/labelled carparks down the eastern side of our building (straight ahead as you drive into our driveway). We ask that you drop off your child and vacate the driveway as we are not allowed to park in the Global Gym car parks.
To clarify we CANNOT park out the front or back of the building or the side of the building that the Global Gym is on. We also cannot park in any neighbouring businesses properties (even if they are closed).
We trust that you will respect this request in order for us to maintain a good relationship with our neighbours. We apologise that we do not have more available designated carparks, however street parking is available most of the way down Newton Street for you to utilise.
Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
Collecting your children after class:
We have instances of parents being 15-20 minutes late collecting their children after classes. Please note that as soon as the dance class has finished, our teachers are no longer responsible for your children. This includes their safety on driveways or roads near our venues.
Open Week: 4 - 8 September:
Because our class viewing policy states that preschool classes are the only classes parents/guardians may stay to observe, we have an open week each term where parents are invited to watch the progress of their children. Please feel free to video the class as a practice tool for your child's learning.
From 4-8 September we will hold this term's open week.
Teachers often have another class to teach (or drive to) immediately after one class finishes so this is not a good time to talk to them about your child. If you do want to discuss any aspect of your child's dancing, please make the initial contact with our office on 5788780
REMINDER TO ADULT DANCERS:
All adults to pay $95 term 3 fees apart from CONTEMPORARY, Historic Village, Adults, Thursdays 7pm which is $120.
If your adult group are performing in shows, you will source your own costumes (the teacher will discuss with you).
MISSING
A sliver pandora charm bracelet has been misplaced from our Historic Village studio. This bracelet was a gift from a beloved grandparent so is of great significance to its owner. If you have seen it or have picked it up could you please contact us or call Shan on 07 5788780. If you want to return the bracelet anonymously, you can put it in the locked letterbox on the outside of the building at 150 Newton Street, Mount Maunganui. Please out it in an envelope marked "Rise Dance Co" as we share the letterbox with Global Gym.

ABSENCES
You don’t need to let us know if you/your child will be awayfor a class. Please just let us know if they will be away for 3 weeks or longer (broken arm etc).
LOST PROPERTY
Please do not contact us regarding lost property at the studios. You can look for it in the 'lost property' box when you are next there.
