Term 3 classes, new Mount studio, new Saturday classes, Holiday programme
Term three:
Our term two finishes next week with the exception of all Monday classes which finish on 3 July, Bethlehem Primary and Advanced Acro which finish 4 July, and Bethlehem College which finishes 7 July.
All term three classes start the week beginning Monday 31 July.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE RETURNING NEXT TERM SO WE DON'T CHARGE YOU.
TERM THREE FEES:
If you are staying in the same class you do not need to re-enrol in term three.
In term three we collect the costume fees for our shows (at Baycourt Theatre on 25 November) as we are already purchasing costumes.
For those taking Hip Hop classes (this includes the classes held in primary & intermediate schools) please add $45 per costume to your term three fees.
For those in Contemporary and Jazz, costumes are $55.
Note that, as well as the cost of the costume these charges include a sourcing fee and a contribution towards make-up, hairspray, clips etc. The costume is yours to keep after the shows.
Some classes may have an additional cost for shoes - eg. Jazz students will require jazz shoes. We will let you know closer to the shows if your group requires shoes.
So, to clarify before term three starts, if your child is in:
- a class at a primary or intermediate school please pay $120 ($75 term fee + $45 show costume)
- a Hoppers (5 year olds) class, please pay $140 ($95 term fee + $45 show costume)
- a hip hop class including boys' only, please pay $140 ($95 term fee + $45 show costume)
- a jazz class, please pay $150 ($95 term fee + $55 show costume)
- a 45 minute per week contemp class, please pay $150 ($95 term fee + $55 show costume)
- a 60 minute contemp class, please pay $175 ($120 term fee + $55 show costume)
- beginners' acro class, please pay $175 ($120 term fee + $55 show costume)
- intermediate acro, please pay $205 ($150 term fee + $55 show costume)
- advanced acro, please pay $230 ($175 term fee + $55 show costume)
Adults:
All adults to pay $95 term three fees.
If any adult groups perform in shows, they will source their own costumes (the teacher will discuss this with you) - so please do not pay us for a costume.
PLEASE NOTE: Under 5's (Lil Luvlies) DO NOT perform in the shows.

NEW MOUNT VENUE FROM TERM THREE:
We are moving our 3&4 year old Friday Arataki Community Centre class and ALL St Mary's classes to Rise Dance Company's new studio at 150 Newton Street, Mount Maunganui (next to the Global Gym).
Our shop and office at the Historic Village will also be moving to the new studio site so there may be some disruption to our opening hours - we aim to keep you advised.
Our Historic Village shop/office will close for the final time on Thursday 29 June.
Note that our Historic Village STUDIO will continue operating as normal for dance classes.
New SATURDAY classes for term three - Mount Maunganui
We are now offering 3 Saturday classes at the new Mount venue starting on the 5th August.

As with all new classes they can only go ahead if we have sufficient enrolments.
If any have to be cancelled, a full refund will apply.
Please let us know if your child is not performing in the shows as we have already started purchasing the 800+ costumes in term . If we haven't been advised that your child is not performing and we have already purchased their costume, you will be required to pay for (and you get to keep it of course) if your child pulls out.
HOLIDAY PROGRAMME JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Our dance-based school holiday programme will once again be operating out of Otumoetai Primary School hall, Tauranga. Lots of different activities including crafts, variety of dance styles, singing, outdoor activities and games.
Come and have some fun with our cool dance teachers!
Drop off and pick up anytime between 8.00am-5.30pm. $40 per day.

TEACHER PHEBE:
Sadly Phebe is leaving Rise at the end of term two to start her next adventure with the Navy.
A huge thank you to Phebe for a wonderful 3 years with Rise. Phebe has had wonderful successes with her hip hop crews (and regular weekly classes) and has been an asset to the company. We wish you all the best with your new career and will miss you Phebe!
Taking over from Phebe on Tuesdays is Shannon B (not owner Shannon V) who has an extensive background in dance teaching. Tina (a current teacher at Rise) (also with extensive teaching experience) will be taking Phebe's Thursday night Papamoa classes.

ABSENCES
You don’t need to let us know if you/your child will be awayfor a class. Please just let us know if they will be away for 3 weeks or longer (broken arm etc).
