MESSAGE FROM CARLA:
Rise Dance Company has been sold and is now in the capable hands of Shannon & David Verwey.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the years, especially those of you who have been dancing with us from the start (almost 10 years ago!).
It has been an amazing journey for our family but it is now time for us to hand the reins over to a more youthful couple (grey hairs are setting in!).
I feel privileged to have had such a special and interesting job and it’s been a huge pleasure to see so many students grow into both amazing dancers and young adults. We will cherish the memories forever…..
Please note I will still be teaching the advanced acro classes and working in the office part time.
All teachers and admin staff will remain the same and classes and business will continue as per usual.

MESSAGE FROM SHANNON:
Hi everyone - it's Shannon here. My partner David and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to be joining the wonderful team here at Rise Dance Co. We live locally on a farm and have two young sons . I have previous experience running a business and a huge passion for dance. Having grown up hip hop dancing then becoming a team member of the NZ Allstars cheerleading competition team, some of my favourite childhood memories were those spent with my fellow dance friends, performing, competing and of course the time spent dancing in classes. I am really looking forward to meeting Rise dance students over the coming few months. I look forward to continuing to provide a happy and fun environment for your children grow as dancers & performers.

If you have not yet paid term 2's fees, please do so now and going forward to the account above. Exceptions are any money owing for term 1 fees, April Holiday Programme and March/April crew payments. Please make these payments to the old bank account (ANZ 010373-0171179-00)

Term 2
Term 2 starts Monday 8 May with the exception of Matua Primary whose term 2 starts Monday 1 May(note earlier start of 7.45am during term 2), Bethlehem Primary whose term 2 starts Tuesday 16 May and Bethlehem College whose term two starts on Friday 19 May 12.40pm.
If you are staying in the same class you do not need to re-enrol for term two.
In fact as some classes are full, you will not be able to enrol on-line as we had to close off enrolments so that new people do not enrol and push existing students off the roll.
If you are not returning in term two, please let us know so that we can take you off our rolls.
If you are enrolling in a different class in term two, please enrol from the ENROL/INFO tab on our home page. In the comments field of your enrolment, tell us if the class is instead of or additional to the class you were enrolled for in term 1.
So existing students - to secure your spot for term two, please make payment of term two fees to:

AMOUNT TO PAY:
If your child is in:
- a class at a primary or intermediate school, please pay $75
- an under 5 year old class, please pay $90
- a Hoppers (5 year olds) class, please pay $95
- a public hip hop class, please pay $95
- a jazz class, please pay $95
- a 45 minute per week contemp class, please pay $95
- a 60 minute per week contemp class, please pay $120
- the Boys' only class, please pay $95
- beginners' acro class, please pay $120
- intermediate acro, please pay $150
- advanced acro, please pay $175
- a crew - you will be notified of costs as they occur

ABSENCES
You don’t need to let us know if you/your child will be awayfor a class. Please just let us know if they will be away for 3 weeks or longer (broken arm etc).
